Make sure to always place your candle and candle holder on a flat, stable surface. Our tapered candle holder is a perfect fit for our tapered candles. For candles that don't stand on their own, like taper and dinner candles, you will always need a candle holder to hold them in place. For candles that do stand on their own, like pillar, cone or sphere candles, or our Tusk taper candles, a holder is not necessary however a tray or coaster can be a great way of displaying your candles, and it can protect your surfaces.
